Stephanie, a student of dance for over 30 years, has been teaching a wide variety of dance disciplines (tap, jazz, ballet, Irish step, modern, lyrical and children's classes) for the last 21 years. She enjoys working with students of all ages, from the very young to adults. This South Jersey native has taught at many area schools as well as in Delaware and Michigan. Among her dance instructors she lists: Ilsetraut Dinshah, Sandy DiLeo, Rhonda Rabbers, Nancy Meyers-Gitlin and Janine Cappello with whom she studied the Royal Academy of Dancing syllabus and the fine works of Martha Graham. As a member and choreographer of The Studio Dance Theatre, Stephanie performed leading roles in Hansel and Gretel and The Nutcracker. She updates her dancing techniques by attending workshops and teacher seminars conducted by Professional Dance Teachers Association and Dance Makers, Inc. and she is an active member of the International Teachers of Dance, Inc. Stephanie is a choreographer for DancElectric and has just completed her seventh successful year on the faculty of the Corrine Gangi Dance Center. |
