Photo Wanda Hoagland

Wanda Hoagland

Wanda, our Dance Director, is a dedicated and inspiring instructor with a varied and extensive background as a professional dancer and dance teacher. A talented and gifted choreographer, Wanda was recently appointed Choreographer of the Mrs. New Jersey America Pageant and is frequently asked to judge other pageants. Immersing herself in the disciplines of dance and gymnastics since childhood, she proceeded to win numerous scholarships and awards recognizing her accomplishments - honors from Dance Masters of America and Dance Olympics included. Wanda's intensive training in all dance disciplines led to her dancing roles in two movies: Eddie and the Cruisers and Video Wars. Resorts International, USO, and several television shows are also included in her professional experience. Wanda is a choreographer for the DancElectric Dance Company and students of the Corrine Gangi Dance Center have benefited from her motivating instruction for over 20 years.

Photo Eisa Jackson

Eisa Jackson

Eisa has studied many forms of dance for more than 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from Temple University. Currently, she is a member of the Philadelphia Civic Ballet Company and Underground Danceworks. She has performed at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and recently at the Garden State Dance Festival. Eisa has many impressive accomplishments: she was selected as a summer apprentice to Chicago's River North Dance Company; she received a bronze medal in dance at the National Finals of the NAACP Afro-American Cultural Technological and Scientific Olympics; she was crowned Gloucester County Junior Miss and First Runner-Up in the New Jersey Junior Miss program; and she graduated from Washington Township High School as valedictorian of her class. Eisa has studied dance with well-known teachers such as Debra DiNote, Carla Craig Krochak and Patti Harris. She is a DancElectric choreographer and has been a valuable asset to the Corrine Gangi Dance Center for twelve years. Eisa is now a member of the Washington Township High School faculty teaching dance.

Photo Darla Thompson

Darla Thompson

Darla has been studying dance at the Corrine Gangi Dance Center for the past 23 years, training in the areas of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, modern and Irish-step. After four years of assistant teaching, she has now completed her ninth year as a full member of our faculty. Darla holds a B.A. degree in Theatre with a Child Drama Specialization and Dance Minor from Rowan University. She is currently working full-time as Registration Manager for Vindico Medical Education. For the past four years, Darla has volunteered for Thinking Globally, a student exchange program, through which she's had the opportunity to teach American dance culture to international teenagers. Darla is a DancElectric Company choreographer.

Photo Teresa Warren

Teresa Warren

Teresa began her dance training 21 years ago, and has studied advanced jazz and ballet with us for the last thirteen. She continually learns new dance techniques and regularly attends workshops to hone her skills. Her gifted dance abilities led to her involvement in local musical productions of Anything Goes, in which Teresa had the lead dance role, and The Wizard of Oz which she choreographed. A multi-talented young lady, she has been a cheerleader, written for a Rutgers University publication, acted as music editor for the Gleaner, and has had her poetry published. She is a member and guest choreographer of DancElectric and is beginning her thirteenth year teaching tap, jazz, ballet, Irish step and hip-hop with the Corrine Gangi Dance Center.

Photo Kaitlyn Seitz

Kaitlyn Seitz

Kaitlyn graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance from George Mason University and has been teaching dance since 2008 in all styles from ballet to hip hop. She has been a member of the Mercer Dance Ensemble since 2004 as a dancer and choreograher. Last year she was invited to teach the Ballet and Lyrical Master Classes at "The Ballet Studio" in Bordentown. Kaitlyn says that dance has always been a passion of hers since she was 5 and is now happy to teach. She believes that dance can offer countless life skills and is a great activity for everyone. We're delighted to welcome Kaitlyn, who will be teaching classes in ballet, jazz and hip hop, to the Corrine Gangi Dance Center.

Photo Stephanie Agin

Stephanie Agin

Stephanie has been choreographing and performing for the past 20 years and currently holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance from Rider University. While in college Stephanie was the only student chosen to choreograph for the annual "Rider Dances" series. Her piece entitled "Black Box Suicide" was one of the pieces highlighted in the Princeton Comment. Stephanie has studied under the direction of Dr. Kim Vaccaro and Carol Belis at the Princeton Ballet School. While at the Princeton Ballet School, she studied intensively in the styles of Ballet, Modern, African, Irish, Spanish, and Hip Hop. Stephanie has also planned and perfomed in dance benefit concerts to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The American Diabetes Association. She says she is thrilled to start her first season with the students of the Corrine Gangi Dance Center. And we are thrilled to have her teaching ballet, jazz, tap, Irish step, modern and hip hop for us.
