Recital

Our annual June dance recitals are held at Pitman High School's modern air-conditioned auditorium. All of our students, regardless of level, are invited to participate and, those who do, receive FREE RESERVED SEATS in the audience to watch their own show. The students perform with state-of-the-art staging, lighting, and sound in a show that usually runs just a little over two hours.

Dress rehearsal takes place a week or so before the show and lasts no more than an hour for each class.

All photo sessions are scheduled around the children's classes -- no lessons are missed.

We do not request a recital costume deposit until December. There are no extra recital fees, and no requirements to purchase a certain number of tickets.

Students in DanceXtra and combination classes will perform in 2 recital dances.

Important Recital Dates in 2008

...The Recital Photos

Photos for the 2008 recital will be taken at The Studio (Photographers), 35 South Broadway, Pitman in mid-May. Some time in April you will receive a written notice telling you the EXACT day and time that your class will have its photos taken. These times have been selected so as not to conflict with your classes!

...The Dress Rehearsal

Students will take part in one dress rehearsal. In 2008 your class's dress rehearsal will be held at the Pitman High School Auditorium located on Waverly Avenue between Linden and North Fernwood Avenues in Pitman. Some time in April you will receive a written notice telling of the EXACT day and time of your class's rehearsal. Your class will rehearse its dance(s) at the scheduled time and then the students may leave -- it takes about an hour.

...The Recital

The 2008 recital shows will be held on

• June 22^nd at 2 PM

...Recital Videos

DVDs of each recital show will be professionally recorded, edited and made available to you. Two camera digital video technology will be used. Each dance number will be preceded with the class's photo. You will be able to order a copy of the DVD at the Dance Center during the weeks before the show.
