The Corrine Gangi Dance Center
In July 2008 we will hold summer dance camps and classes in our Air Conditioned studios.
The camps meet for 2 1/2 hours on four consecutive days.
The DanceXtra and Hip-Hop classes meet on 8 days for an hour each day.

All-Star Dance Camp - Ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12
CLASS MEETS: July 14 to 17, Monday through Thursday - 9:30 am to 12 Noon
TUITION: $125
Includes classes in ballet, tap, jazz, creative dance, and theatre dance.
Also learn about the history of dance and musical instruments.
Arts and crafts included.
A dance routine will be learned and performed for parents on the last day of camp.
Wear comfortable clothing - ballet and tap shoes are preferred, but not required.
Bring a snack each day.
Hip-Hop Dance Camp - Ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12
CLASS MEETS: July 21 to 24, Monday through Thursday - 9:30 am to 12 Noon
TUITION: $125
Includes introduction to Hip-Hop and contemporary street funk.
Also learn about the evolution of Hip-Hop.
Arts and crafts included.
A dance routine will be learned and performed for parents on the last day of camp.
Wear comfortable clothing (no jeans please) and sneakers.
Bring a snack each day.
Dance Intensive Camp - Teens
CLASS MEETS: July 14 to 17, Monday through Thursday - 6:30 to 9 pm
TUITION: $125
This camp is for experienced students.
It includes ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap (contemporary, Irish step & hoofing) Hip-Hop, and musical theatre dance.
Dancewear required. Also required: ballet shoes, flat-heel tap shoes, and jazz shoes.
Dance Intensive Camp - Adults
CLASS MEETS: July 21 to 24, Monday through Thursday - 6:30 to 9 pm
TUITION: $125
Taught by guest choreographers well-known on the East Coast, this camp is for experienced advanced students.
It includes ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap (contemporary, Irish step & hoofing) Hip-Hop, and musical theatre dance.
Dancewear required. Also required: ballet shoes, flat-heel tap shoes, and jazz shoes.
Summer DanceXtra Class - Ages 3 to 5
CLASS MEETS: July 8 to 31, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm
TUITION: $85

A student who is currently enrolled as of June 2008 and who brings a NEW STUDENT who enrolls and pays tuition for this class may take this class for FREE!

The special summer DanceXtra class combines ballet, tap dancing, baton twirling, creative dancing and gymnastics.
Every one-hour lesson begins with 20 minutes of ballet followed by 20 minutes of tap dancing.
During the last 20 minutes of each lesson a new dance discipline will be taught as follows: for the first two lessons it's baton twirling, during the second two lessons it's creative dance, and for the last four lessons it's gymnastics.
Ballet and tap shoes are preferred, but not required. Batons are supplied by the Dance Center.
Summer Hip-Hop Class - Teens & Adults
CLASS MEETS: July 7 to 30, Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm
TUITION: $85
Learn the latest hip-hop and street funk steps along with combinations to current pop, hip-hop and R & B music.
Wear comfortable clothing (no jeans please) and sneakers.
